After 2019, all elections for all Council <br /> positions are for 4-year terms. <br /> Should this measure be enacted into law? <br /> YES ❑ <br /> NO ❑ <br /> Section 2: The Snohomish County Auditor,as ex officio supervisor of all elections held <br /> in Snohomish County,is requested to place such measure on the ballot of the November <br /> 2017 ballot. <br /> Section 3: The City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to take action with <br /> respect to the proposed ballot measure regarding possible changes to the Everett City <br /> Charter so that the ballot is formulated in compliance with local requirements and state <br /> law applicable to local measures (such as RCW 29A.36.071). The City Attorney shall <br /> transmit any revisions to the Clerk of the City of Everett. The Clerk is authorized and <br /> directed to certify to the Snohomish County Auditor's Office the proposed ballot measure <br /> as specified above and revised by the City Attorney.
