November 18, 2015 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., October 21, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of the William <br /> E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Moore, Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Murphy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 10, 2015, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson commented on Monday's "Housing First" housing <br /> forum where over 350 citizens attended to listen to featured speaker, <br /> Lloyd Pendleton, homeless task force director for the State of Utah. The <br /> Mayor also commented on yesterday's powerful storm events. <br /> Dave Davis, Public Works Director, provided an update on the damage <br /> and cleanup of street debris caused by the storm yesterday. <br /> Murray Gordon, Everett Fire Chief, reported on storm events, and he <br /> thanked all emergency responders. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Murphy reported on his attendance at Mr. Pendleton's <br /> low-barrier housing presentation on Monday and thanked the Mayor for <br /> his leadership. He also commented on the recent terrorist events in <br /> France. <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked first responders who assisted with <br /> yesterday's storm challenges. He commented on his attendance at <br /> meetings with Lloyd Pendleton and noted the information provided will be <br /> helpful as Everett moves forward. Council Member Roberts announced <br /> that the General Government Subcommittee will meet at 5:30 p.m. on <br /> December 2, 2015. He reported that the Association of Washington Cities <br /> 376 <br />
