Estimated weight is about 12,000 lbs. <br /> 1.4 CONTRACTOR'S USEF <br /> O SITE AND PREMISES <br /> A. Limit use of Site and premises to allow: <br /> 1. Owner occupancy of existing vault structure. <br /> B. Construction Operations: Limited to areas indicated on Drawings. <br /> C. Utility Outages and Shutdown: <br /> 1. Maximum allowable length of time Transmission Line 5 may be shutdown is 30 <br /> continuous hours. <br /> 2. Allowed days of week for shutdown are Monday—Thursday. <br /> 3. Coordinate and schedule electrical and other utility outages with Owner. <br /> 4. Outages:Allowed only at previously agreed upon times. <br /> 5. At least one week before scheduled electrical outage, submit Outage Request Plan to <br /> Owner itemizing the dates,times, and duration of each requested outage. <br /> 6. At least three weeks before the scheduled Transmission Line 5 outage, submit Tie-in <br /> Work Plan. <br /> a. Refer to Section 01 70 00 — Execution and Closeout Requirements for additional <br /> requirements. <br /> D. Construction Plan: Before start of construction, post electronic file to Project website of <br /> construction plan regarding access to Work, use of Site, and utility outages for acceptance by <br /> Owner. After acceptance of plan, construction operations shall comply with accepted plan <br /> unless deviations are accepted by Owner in writing. <br /> 1.5 WORK SEQUENCE ' <br /> A. Construct Work in stages in order to accommodate Owner's use requirements during <br /> construction period. Coordinate construction schedule and operations with Owner: <br /> 1. Stage 1: Prior to October 2,purchase materials. <br /> a. Owner will issue authorization letter to Contractor for ordering materials. <br /> 2. Stage 2: After October 2, cut existing pipe and install new wyes and valves to existing <br /> 51-inch diameter pipe on date approved by Owner. Also begin vault excavation and <br /> forming. <br /> 3. Stage 3: Construct bypass piping, set PSV and complete vault. <br /> 4. Stage 4: Connect bypass piping to new cut-in wyes. <br /> B. Sequencing of Construction Plan: Before start of construction, post electronic file to Project <br /> website of construction plan regarding Contractor's staging plan and new Work for acceptance <br /> by Owner.
