Provide barriers to prevent unauthorized entry to construction areas,to allow for Owner's use of I <br /> Site, and to protect existing facilities and adjacent properties from damage from construction <br /> operations. <br /> B. Tree and Plant Protection: Preserve and protect existing trees and plants designated to remain. ' <br /> 1. Protect areas within drip lines from traffic, parking, storage, dumping, chemically <br /> injurious materials and liquids,ponding,and continuous running water. <br /> 2. Provide 6-foot-high barriers around drip line,with access for maintenance. <br /> 3. Replace trees and plants damaged by construction operations. <br /> C. Protect non-owned vehicular traffic,stored materials, Site,and structures from damage. <br /> 1.15 ENCLOSURES AND FENCING <br /> A. Construction: Contractor's option. <br /> B. Provide 6-foot-high fence around construction Site; equip with vehicular gates with locks. , <br /> 1.16 SECURITY <br /> A. Security Program: <br /> 1. Protect Work on existing premises and Owner's operations from theft, vandalism, and ' <br /> unauthorized entry. <br /> 2. Initiate program in coordination with Owner's existing security system at Project <br /> mobilization. <br /> 3. Maintain program throughout construction period until Owner occupancy. <br /> B. Restrictions: <br /> 1. Do not allow cameras on Site or photographs taken except by written approval of Owner. <br /> 2. Do no work on days indicated in Owner-Contractor Agreement. <br /> 1.17 WATER CONTROL <br /> A. Grade Site to drain. Maintain excavations free of water. Provide, operate, and maintain 1 <br /> necessary pumping equipment. <br /> B. Protect Site from puddles or running water.
