1 <br /> CITY OF EVERETT,WASHINGTON <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> THREE LAKES VALVE BYPASS <br /> WO NO. -UP3611 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Three Lakes Valve Bypass will be received at the office of the City Clerk, <br /> 151 Floor Wall Street Building,2930 Wetmore,Everett,Washington 98201,until 2:00 p.m.on Tuesday,August 8,2017. At <br /> the appointed time, all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the 8th floor hearing room at the Wall Street <br /> Building. The engineer's estimate for this Project is$980,000. <br /> This project provides about 200 lineal feet of 36-inch diameter welded steel bypass piping and an Owner provided 36-inch <br /> pressure sustaining valve installed within a cast-in-place concrete vault for the City of Everett's 51-inch diameter steel <br /> I Transmission Line Number 5. Work required is indicated on the project drawings and described in further detail in Section <br /> 01 10 00—Summary. <br /> Plans, Specifications, Addenda, and plan holders list for this Project may be viewed on line <br /> at https://everettwa.Rov/319/Bid-Opportunities. <br /> Plan sets may also be purchased at Bill's Blueprints(425)259-0859 at 2920 Rockefeller Avenue,Everett,WA 98201. <br /> For technical questions regarding this Project email Richard Hefti P.E., Project Manager, City of Everett, <br /> at rheftina,everettwa.gov. <br /> All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond or <br /> certified check in an amount not less than five percent(5%)of the total amount of the Bid. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder may <br /> withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as <br /> deemed in the best interest of the City.
