CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS 00 21 13 <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br /> 2. Their use does not grant a license for other purposes. <br /> 1.8 EXAMINATION OF DOCUMENTS <br /> A. Completeness: <br /> II. Upon receipt of Bidding Documents,verify that documents are complete. <br /> 2. Notify Owner if documents are incomplete. <br /> B. Immediately notify Owner upon finding discrepancies or omissions in Bidding Documents. <br /> 1.9 SITE EXAMINATION <br /> A. Examine Project Site before submitting a Bid. <br /> ' 1. Inspect site of the Work by personal examination, physical testing, or by such other <br /> means as Bidder prefers, of the location of the proposed Work, the actual physical <br /> conditions of and at the Site, surface and subsurface conditions, and conditions ordinarily <br /> ' to be encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the Work. <br /> 2. If, during the course or as a result of such inspection, examination and testing, a Bidder <br /> finds facts or conditions that appear to conflict or are omitted from the Contract <br /> Documents, or with other data or material made available relating to the Work, Bidder <br /> shall so notify the City in writing, and may apply to the City for additional information <br /> and explanation before submitting their Bid. <br /> 1.10 INQUIRIES AND ADDENDA <br /> A. Should a Bidder find what is believed to be discrepancies in or omissions from the Drawings or <br /> Specifications, or should the Bidder be in doubt as to their meaning, Bidder may submit to the <br /> City an emailed or faxed written request for an interpretation. <br /> B. Direct all questions in writing to Richard Hefti, PE, at 3200 Cedar Street, Everett, WA 98201, <br /> facsimile(425)257-8882 or e-mail to rhefti@everettwa.gov. <br /> C. Verbal answers are not binding on any party. <br /> D. Submit questions not less than seven days before date set for receipt of Bids. <br /> E. Addenda: <br /> ' 1. Replies will be made by Addenda, which may be issued during Bidding period. <br /> 2. Addenda will be published online on Washington Builders Exchange website. <br /> 3.
