PUBLIC WORKS iiiiJ ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO THREE LAKES VALVE BYPASS W.O. # UP-3611 AUGUST 2, 2017 NOTICE TO PLANHOLDERS: Addendum No. 2 contains the following revisions, additions, deletions and clarifications and is hereby made a part of the contract documents for the above named Project and shall be considered by all prospective bidders in submitting bids. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 2 in the space provided on page 3 of Document 00 41 13 — Bid Form (Stipulated Sum). Failure to comply with this requirement may render the Bid non-responsive and may cause its rejection. This Addendum consists of 2 pages, including all revisions, attachments and details. The Bid date, time and location for receipt of Bids are unchanged by this Addendum. SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS SECTION 01 10 00 — SUMMARY Item 1 - ARTICLE 1.4 — CONTRACTOR'S USE OF SITE AND PREMISES Revise C.1. to read as follows: 1. Maximum allowable length of time Transmission Line 5 may be shutdown is 36 continuous hours. Item 2 - ARTICLE 1.6 — OWNER OCCUPANCY Revise A.1. to read as follows: A.1. Owner will limit the time Transmission Line 5 can be out of service to be 36 consecutive hours or less. SECTION 01 70 00 — EXECUTION AND CLOSEOUT REQUIREMENTS Item 3 - ARTICLE 3.2 - PREPARATION Revise 3.2 to read as follows: A. Coordinate a minimum of four weeks prior to shutting down Transmission Line 5 to make tie-ins with City Water Operations to allow for City to shut down and drain off the head from the Transmission Line 5 pipe. B. Ensure all subcontractors, materials, labor, and equipment is on-site prior to the Transmission Line 5 shutdown to allow smooth and seamless transition to begin the tie-in work. 1. Ensure all subcontractors provide their site superintendent or foreman attend a pre-shutdown meeting that will be held one week prior to scheduled shut- down.
