PUBLIC WORKS <br /> iiiiJ <br /> ADDENDUM NO. 2 <br /> TO <br /> THREE LAKES VALVE BYPASS <br /> W.O. # UP-3611 <br /> AUGUST 2, 2017 <br /> NOTICE TO PLANHOLDERS: <br /> Addendum No. 2 contains the following revisions, additions, deletions and clarifications and is <br /> hereby made a part of the contract documents for the above named Project and shall be <br /> considered by all prospective bidders in submitting bids. <br /> Bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 2 in the space provided on page 3 of <br /> Document 00 41 13 — Bid Form (Stipulated Sum). Failure to comply with this requirement may <br /> render the Bid non-responsive and may cause its rejection. <br /> This Addendum consists of 2 pages, including all revisions, attachments and details. <br /> The Bid date, time and location for receipt of Bids are unchanged by this Addendum. <br /> SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br /> SECTION 01 10 00 — SUMMARY <br /> Item 1 - ARTICLE 1.4 — CONTRACTOR'S USE OF SITE AND PREMISES <br /> Revise C.1. to read as follows: <br /> 1. Maximum allowable length of time Transmission Line 5 may be shutdown is 36 <br /> continuous hours. <br /> Item 2 - ARTICLE 1.6 — OWNER OCCUPANCY <br /> Revise A.1. to read as follows: <br /> A.1. Owner will limit the time Transmission Line 5 can be out of service to be 36 <br /> consecutive hours or less. <br /> SECTION 01 70 00 — EXECUTION AND CLOSEOUT REQUIREMENTS <br /> Item 3 - ARTICLE 3.2 - PREPARATION <br /> Revise 3.2 to read as follows: <br /> A. Coordinate a minimum of four weeks prior to shutting down Transmission Line 5 to <br /> make tie-ins with City Water Operations to allow for City to shut down and drain off <br /> the head from the Transmission Line 5 pipe. <br /> B. Ensure all subcontractors, materials, labor, and equipment is on-site prior to the <br /> Transmission Line 5 shutdown to allow smooth and seamless transition to begin the <br /> tie-in work. <br /> 1.
