November 10, 2015 <br /> The special meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., November 10, 2015, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Vice President Murphy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Gipson, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Members Bader and Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 4, 2015, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICERS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to concur with the appointment of Kevin Shay and Mark <br /> Smith as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Bader and Stonecipher who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office and Mayor <br /> Sephanson presented them with their badges. <br /> Mayor Stephanson reported on his participation at the special Veterans <br /> Day program at Jefferson Elementary School in Everett. He also <br /> expressed his honor and appreciation to all U.S. veterans. <br /> Dr. Gary Goldbaum, health officer and director of the Snohomish Health <br /> District, provided an update on events and projects at the Snohomish <br /> Health District. <br /> 367 <br />
