The life insurance amount has not been changed for over thirty years. To retain the intent of the life insurance benefit,the maximum amount should be increased from$150,000 to $250,000. The intent of the disability insurance is to pay up to the amounts recognized in the ordinance whereas presently the amounts are limited to a percentage of the maximum amount.
