Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11"x 17". <br /> 1. Provide architectural details for insulation requirements in the heated basement <br /> including; <br /> - R-21 Insulation on inside of below grade walls <br /> - R-5 Rigid insulation between the slab-on-grade and the exterior concrete wall. <br /> - R-21 Insulation on walls separating basement from crawl space. <br /> 2. Show insulated walls in basement on basement plan view. <br /> 3. Provide minimum 36' clear landing at base of stairs in basement. Show dimension on <br /> plans. <br /> 4. Show how existing foundation is supported at new basement.
