All stairways are required to have a minimum 36" landing at the top and bottom. <br /> Provide 36" landing at bottom of stairs leading into the garage. <br /> 7. The Storage Room that is accessed from the garage appears to be at the same floor <br /> level as the garage. The foundation plan shows a crawl space at this location. Please <br /> clarify. <br /> 8. The wall between the garage and the Hall, Laundry, and Storage Room is required to be <br /> insulated to minimum R-21. The existing wall is 2 x 4 construction, which will not <br /> accommodate -21 insulation. <br /> 9. The insulation in the floor joists shall be in contact with the heated floor and <br /> permanently supported at not more than 24"o.c. <br /> 10. The attic insulation baffle shall extend 6"vertically above batt insulation and minimum <br /> 12"above loose-fill insulation.
