EVERETT ORDINANCE NO. /777- 9/ AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1667-89 which amended a special fund entitled "Evergreen Way North, Southpoint and North Broadway Signal Improvement," Fund 322, to accumulate the design and construction costs for the Traffic Signal Improvements. WHEREAS, the City of Everett has entered into agreements with the Washington State Department of Transportation to provide Exxon Oil rebate funding of preliminary engineering and construction costs for signal improvements along Evergreen Way North, Southpoint and North Broadway; and WHEREAS, based on needed construction changes, interest costs and funding sources, there is a need to amend Ordinance No. 1667-89; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A Special Design and Construction Fund is hereby established as Fund 322 entitled "Evergreen Way North, Southpoint and North Broadway Signal Improvements" to accumulate the design and construction costs for the traffic signal improvements. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 322 for design and construction of the traffic signal improvements. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" , under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $200,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 322, "Evergreen Way North, Southpoint and North Broadway Signal Improvements" as follows:
