• <br /> 80-11 VIOLATION. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or <br /> corporation to install, alter or extend any electrical equipment <br /> in the City, or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in <br /> violation of any of the provisions of this Code. <br /> 80-12 PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS. <br /> (a) Permits required: No person, firm or corporation shall <br /> install, alter, replace or extend any electrical work or <br /> equipment except replacement of kind or as provided for in <br /> Section 80-13, "Work Started Without a Permit," without <br /> first obtaining a separate electrical permit for each <br /> installation, alteration, replacement or extension from the <br /> Building. <br /> (b) Application: To obtain a permit the applicant shall first <br /> file an application therefor in writing on a form furnished <br /> for that purpose. Every such application shall: <br /> (1) Identify and describe the work to be covered by the <br /> permit for which application is made; <br /> (2) Describe the land on which the proposed work is to be <br /> done, by house and street address; <br /> (3) Indicate the use or occupancy for which the proposed <br /> work is intended; <br /> (4) Be accompanied by plans and specifications as <br /> required in Subsection (d) of this section; <br /> (5) State the valuation of the proposed work; <br /> (6) Be signed by the permittee: <br /> (7) Give such other information as reasonably may be <br /> required by the Building Official. <br /> (c) To Whom Permits May Be Issued: A permit may be issued to <br /> anyone as permitted by Section 19.28, RCW. <br /> (d) Plans and Specifications: With each application for a <br /> permit, and when required by the Building Official for <br /> enforcement of any provisions of this Code, two sets of <br /> plans, service diagrams, specifications, and other <br /> information deemed necessary by the Building Official, <br /> shall be submitted. The Building Official may require <br /> plans and specifications to be prepared and designed by an <br /> 4 <br />
