• <br /> EL/ERETT <br /> ORDINANCE NO. //,r702— 9/ <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1693-90 entitled "7th Avenue <br /> SE Improvements," Fund 356, authorizing the construction <br /> of street improvements on 7th Avenue SE from 112th Street <br /> SE to 100th Street SE. <br /> WHEREAS, on March 7, 1990, Council authorized the Mayor to enter an <br /> agreement with WSDOT to obligate FAUS funds for the improvement of 7th <br /> Avenue SE, from 112th Street SE to 100th Street SE, to eliminate sight <br /> distance deficiencies and to add a two-way left turn lane; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on the construction bid, increased funding, construction <br /> changes, interest costs, citizen input and other improvements, there is a <br /> need to amend Ordinance 1693-90; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 356, entitled "7th <br /> Avenue SE Improvements" to accumulate the construction costs required to <br /> construct the 7th Avenue SE Improvements. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments <br /> from Fund 356 for construction of the 7th Avenue SE Improvements. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director, " under the <br /> direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for <br /> conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions <br /> authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $750,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 356, "7th Avenue SE <br /> Improvements" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs: <br /> 1. Road Construction, Program 460 (W.O. #2362) $750,000 <br /> Total Construction Cost $750,000 <br />
