• <br /> the premises of or in the presence of such physicians, <br /> surgeons, chiropractors, osteopaths, acupuncturists, <br /> physical therapists or naturopaths; <br /> F. Nurses who are registered as such under the laws of the <br /> State of Washington and who act under the direction and <br /> control of a duly licensed physician; <br /> G. Massage treatments that are customarily given in beauty <br /> salons and barber shops for purposes of beautification when <br /> performed by state licensed beauty operators and barbers; <br /> H. Massage treatments given by State of Washington licensed <br /> massage practitioners in full service salons, which salon ' s <br /> primary function involves the practice of cosmetology as <br /> defined in Chapter 18.16 R.C.W. and which salon is operated <br /> by State of Washington licensed cosmetologists; and <br /> I. Licensed Massage Therapists. For purposes of this <br /> ordinance "Licensed Massage Therapist" means a health care <br /> professional possessing a valid Washington State Massage <br /> Practitioner's license issued pursuant to RCW 18.108.073 <br /> and also meeting at least one of the following conditions: <br /> a. Has a valid Washington State Massage Practitioners <br /> license which was first issued on or after June 1 , <br /> 1988; <br /> b. Has a valid Washington State Massage Practitioners <br /> license which was first issued prior to June 1 , 1988, <br /> and the health care professional is able to <br /> demonstrate to the satisfaction of the City Clerk or <br /> his/her designee the completion of 500 hours of <br /> educational training from a Washington State APPROVED <br /> massage school ; <br /> c. Has a valid Washington State Massage Practitioners <br /> license which was first issued prior to June 1 , 1988, <br /> and the health care professional is able to <br /> demonstrate to the satisfaction of the City Clerk or <br /> his/her designee that the completion of the <br /> equivalent of 500 hours of educational training as <br /> verified by a Washington State APPROVED massage <br /> school ; <br /> d. Has a valid Washington State Massage Practitioners <br /> license which was first issued prior to June 1 , 1988, <br /> and the health care professional is able to <br /> demonstrate to the satisfaction of the City Clerk or <br /> 3 <br />
