• 1 It is the specific intent of these regulations to place the obligation 2 of complying with its requirements upon the property owner and applicant and 3 no provision or term used in these regulations is intended to impose any 4 duty whatsoever upon the City or any of its officers, employees, or agents 5 for whom the implementation or enforcement of these regulations shall be 6 discretionary and not mandatory. 7 Nothing contained in these regulations is intended to be nor shall be 8 construed to create or form the basis for any liability on the part of the 9 City, its officers, employees or agents, for any injury or damage resulting 10 from the failure to comply with these regulations, or by reason or in 11 consequence of any inspection, notice, order, certificate, permission or 12 approval authorized or issued or done in connection with the implementation 13 or enforcement of these regulations, or by reason of any action or inaction 14 on the part of the City related in any manner to the enforcement of these 15 regulations by its officers, employees or agents. 16 Section 15: VIOLATIONS. 17 A violation of this ordinance or violation of any order of the Public 18 Works Director or his/her designee pursuant to this ordinance shall be a 19 misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $5,000 per day or per 20 occurrence. 21 -4011r- 22 E K NC' , --.yo ATTEST.! 23 A1.. 1111P • • 1 L er 25 Passed: /14t"(90 26 Valid: / Wf0 27 Published: /c9A9190 28 (4423) 29 30 31 32 8
