+ • • - a ORDINANCE NO. /66 7- y AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1516-88 which created a special fund entitled "Evergreen Way North and Southpoint Signal Improvements," Fund 322, to accumulate all the design and construction costs for the Traffic Signal Imrprovement Project. WHEREAS, the City of Everett has entered into an agreement with the Washington State Department of Transportation to provide 90% Exxon oil rebate funding of preliminary engineering and construction costs for signal improvements along Evergreen Way North and Southpoint; and WHEREAS, on November 2, 1989 the Washington State Department of Transportation authorized funding for North Broadway Signal Improvements; and WHEREAS, based on the addition of this project, there is a need to amend Ordinance 1516-88. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN THAT: Section 1: A Special Design and Construction Fund is hereby established as Fund 322 entitled "Evergreen Way North and Southpoint Signal Improvements" to accumulate the design and construction costs for the traffic signal improvements. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 322 for design and construction of the traffic signal improvements. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director," under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $140,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 322, "Evergreen Way North and Southpoint Improvements" as follows:
