September 20, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., September 20, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William <br /> E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Member Moore was excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 13, 2017, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts, to concur with the following appointment: <br /> Senior Center Advisory Board <br /> Appointment of Angeilea Yancey to Position 6, for the remainder of <br /> the six-year term expiring December 31, 2017. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member <br /> Moore who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Franklin reported on her attendance at the Building <br /> Communities of Hope Gala organized by Compass Health. She also <br /> provided an update from the Smith Avenue Stakeholder meeting and <br /> Community Streets Initiative meeting. Council Member Franklin announced <br /> that the next Public Safety Subcommittee meeting is scheduled for October <br /> 313 <br />
