September 20, 2017 <br /> Jackie Minchew, Everett, spoke about climate action plans and energy <br /> descent plans. <br /> Jean Rittmann, Everett, raised concerns about the violations of 2012 <br /> variance requirements and other code violations committed by McDonald's. <br /> City Attorney Iles stated that the Planning Director issued a letter to <br /> McDonald's directing them to bring landscaping into compliance with the <br /> 2012 variance, which if not completed in the near future will be subject to <br /> Code Enforcement action. Mr. Iles also stated that other concerns raised by <br /> Ms. Rittmann were investigated by Code Enforcement, and it was <br /> determined they did not have merit. <br /> Sean Renfro, Everett, spoke about a police issue. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> Council Revenue Workshop <br /> Presented by Susy Haugen, Finance <br /> Council Member Stonecipher asked about the relative percentage of budget <br /> changes overtime. <br /> Susy Haugen, Finance, stated that this information will be provided to <br /> Council. <br /> Council Member Murphy asked that examples of process improvements <br /> and efficiencies implemented by departments be provided to Council. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated the information will be provided to <br /> Council. <br /> Council Member Roberts suggested looking systematically at the difference <br /> between revenue and expenditures in order to control the budget deficit. <br /> 315 <br />
