September 27, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., September 27, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Franklin, and Tuohy were present. Council Members <br /> Bader, Murphy, and Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 20, 2017, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Franklin thanked the Mayor and legal team for moving <br /> the lawsuit forward against opioid maker Purdue Pharma. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Silver Lake <br /> Neighborhood meeting last evening and the Transportation Advisory <br /> Committee meeting last Thursday. He spoke about the public process for <br /> the Transit Long Range Plan, which was prepared by Fehr and Peers, and <br /> asked Debra Bryant, Administration, for additional information about the <br /> timeline for public comment. <br /> Debra Bryant stated that Tom Hingson, Transportation Services, is <br /> scheduled to provide a quarterly update at the next Council meeting, and <br /> he can answer questions at that time. <br /> Council Member Roberts spoke about the agenda for the annual meeting <br /> of Snohomish County Tomorrow, which will be held jointly this evening <br /> with Snohomish County Cities. He also provided a reminder that the <br /> General Government Subcommittee is scheduled to meet next <br /> Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers. Council Member <br /> 322 <br />
