She stated topics of discussion will include priorities developed <br /> by the EnvisionEverett Committee, Everett housing, and a Transit briefing <br /> at the end of the meeting if time allows. <br /> President Tuohy stated Action Item number 8 has been pulled from <br /> today's agenda. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Hil Kaman, public health and safety director, reported that staff has been <br /> exploring ways to work with affordable housing developers to implement a <br /> system development fee waiver or exemption, allowed under State law, to <br /> address complex financing issues and rising construction costs in <br /> Snohomish County. <br /> President Tuohy stated this topic should be referred to the General <br /> Government Subcommittee for review. <br /> Council Member Roberts asked Mr. Kaman to provide a short briefing and <br /> a staff memo in advance of next week's General Government <br /> Subcommittee meeting that outlines all available options.
