September 27, 2017 <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Jean Rittmann, Everett, spoke about code violations committed by the <br /> McDonald's restaurant that is located next to her property. <br /> Deputy City Attorney Hall provided an update on actions taken by the <br /> Planning Department to bring McDonald's into compliance. <br /> John Hall, Everett, also spoke about the code violations committed by <br /> McDonalds. <br /> Sharita Burton, Everett, requested the Council consider changing yearly <br /> Council liaison assignments at the next Council Retreat rather than waiting <br /> until January 1, 2018, so that neighborhoods don't feel they are being <br /> campaigned. <br /> President Tuohy stated she distributed a memo to council members today <br /> in response to this issue, which was raised at a recent Council of <br /> Neighborhoods meeting, and that the topic could be discussed at the <br /> Council Retreat. <br /> Sean Renfro, Everett, spoke about criminal matters and the Everett Police <br /> Department. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1709-48 <br /> FIRST READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving the reallocation of $400,000 in 2017 <br /> budgeted dollars to support the Housing Hope Hopeworks Station II <br /> Project, amending Ordinance No. 3569-17 <br /> Presented by Hil Kaman, Administration <br /> Hill Kaman stated this item was previously briefed during the last budget <br /> amendment and was also discussed extensively with the Budget <br /> Subcommittee. <br /> 324 <br />
