It will also be 90 day notice prior to referral to Code Enforcement.
The tenant was also called to set expectations of what the City of Everett can do to address their concerns regarding the
restoration of permitted parking.
—Meg
From: Tony Lee
Sent: Thursday, September 03, 2015 1:04 PM
To: Meg Haley
Cc: Paul McKee; Anne Weech
Subject: FW: Handicap Parking
Meg—please look into this at your earliest convenience. Thanks, Tony
From: Beverly Lackenbauer [mailto:BLackenbauer@mcn.com]
Sent: Thursday, September 03, 2015 11:37 AM
To: Code Enforcement
Subject: Handicap Parking
Hello
I work at 1010 SE Everett Mall Way (Kirtley Cole Building) and have spoken with David Baugh, the building manager,
several times about the Handicap Parking for the building. We have also had handicap patients call Kirtley Cole with
complaints and one of our handicap doctors called David B to speak with him but David refuses to comply on the parking
situation.
There is only one handicap parking spot at the front door which is the only unlocked door for patients to enter. There is
one handicap parking spot at each of the two side doors but these doors are locked and for employees only. The
handicap parking spots are not at current code size (smaller then current code) and the one at the front door has been
missing the handicap parking sign for over a year. David refuses to replace the sign or bring the parking spaces up to
code.
This violation causes our handicap patients and doctors to park on a hill. This makes walking to the front door very
dangerous for some of our people.
We would like very much to have someone come and speak with Kirtley Cole and David Baugh about bringing the
buildings Handicap parking up to current code.
Thank you,
1
