I CITY OF EVERETT PUBLIC WORKS SPECIAL PROVISIONS B. Purpose: 1. Bidding Documents are made available only for the purpose of obtaining offers for the Project. 2. Their use does not grant a license for other purposes. 1.8 EXAMINATION OF DOCUMENTS A. Completeness: 1. Upon receipt of Bidding Documents,verify that documents are complete. 2. Notify Owner if documents are incomplete. B. Immediately notify Owner upon finding discrepancies or omissions in Bidding Documents. 1.9 SITE EXAMINATION A. Examine Project Site before submitting a Bid. 1. Inspect site of the Work by personal examination, physical testing, or by such other means as Bidder prefers, of the location of the proposed Work, the actual physical conditions of and at the Site, surface and subsurface conditions, and conditions ordinarily to be encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the Work. 2. If, during the course or as a result of such inspection, examination and testing, a Bidder finds facts or conditions that appear to conflict or are omitted from the Contract Documents, or with other data or material made available relating to the Work, Bidder shall so notify the City in writing, and may apply to the City for additional information and explanation before submitting their Bid. 111 B. A visit to Project Site has been arranged for Bidders immediately after the Prebid Meeting. 1.10 PREBID MEETING A. A mandatory Prebid Meeting to visit and review the project site, in accordance with Section 00 25 13 — Prebid Meetings, is scheduled for 9:00 AM local time, on June 28, 2017. Meet at the WFP Headquarters Building as described in Section 00 25 13 -Prebid Meetings. B. General Contract and Subcontract Bidders are invited to attend. C.
