RESOLUTION No. <br /> 9 <br /> 1J.1 A Resolution declaring the listed vehicles and equipment surplus and <br /> authorizing their disposition. <br /> Whereas,the City has one 2000 Sterling/Elgin Sweeper(#H0033); one 2003 John Deere 544H <br /> Loader(#J0045); one 1995 Ford F450 Dump Truck(#J0005); and one 1997 Ford F450 Dump Truck <br /> (#J0025) in its fleet;and <br /> Whereas,the above-referenced equipment is no longer of value or use to <br /> the City; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for <br /> surplusing or disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas,based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance <br /> 2963-06 a public auction is the disposition method that best meets the <br /> City's interests; and <br /> Whereas,the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the <br /> estimated value of the surplus property and has recommended surplusing <br /> the above-referenced vehicles and equipment by public auction. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,it is hereby resolved by the City Council of <br /> the City of Everett: <br /> 1. The 2000 Sterling/Elgin Sweeper(#H0033); 2003 John Deere 544H Loader (#J0045); 1995 Ford <br /> F450 Dump Truck(#J0005); and 1997 Ford F450 Dump Truck(#J0025) are no longer of value or <br /> use to the City; and <br /> 2.
