October 4, 2017 <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, had no report. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Kimberly Busteed, Everett, spoke about climate change and encouraged <br /> the City to take the environmental lead to reduce the carbon footprint. <br /> Council Member Roberts requested Kimberly be connected to Planning <br /> staff. <br /> Debra Bryant stated she would ask Paul Kaftanski, Administration, to <br /> contact Ms. Busteed. <br /> Sean Renfro, Everett, spoke about a candlelight memorial, which was held <br /> for Juan Gonzales who recently died near the Gospel Mission, and the <br /> ongoing opioid problem. <br /> Jean Rittmann, Everett, spoke about code violations committed by the <br /> McDonald's restaurant that is located next to her property and asked the <br /> City to correct these violations. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, asked City Attorney Iles to respond <br /> regarding options available to Ms. Rittmann. Mr. Iles stated Ms. Rittmann <br /> might get counsel from her own attorney and seek appropriate action <br /> based upon her attorney's advice. He stated the City sent a letter to <br /> McDonalds that included a timeframe for compliance before being referred <br /> to Code Enforcement. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher inquired about the timeline details. <br /> 331 <br />
