Although there
was a shell permit from 2012 (see attached), it was not for a new shell, after doing some more research. I apologize for misreading
the earlier permit.
B1205-038 was a permit to convert the previous Seven Eleven into a multi-tenant building of the same occupancy,so it would be
grandfathered for NOT REQUIRING both fire detection and for sprinklers. I have confirmed this with AFM Jim Venturo. Please see
attached revised cover sheet(office copy)and the revised permit. Please let me know if you need anything else.
It may be a good idea to request a certificate of occupancy at the time of final inspection so that you have a record directly from our
Permit Services Counter, in addition to this e-mail.
I also have copied the building inspector on this e-mail, so that David Foster is aware of the revision.
Please let me know if I can provide further assistance.
Meg
Meg Haley, RA • Associate Engineer-Plan Review Architect • Everett Public Works, 3200 Cedar St., Everett, WA 98201 •425-257-
8813 • mhaley@everettwa.gov• everettwa.gov/permits
i
