Please summarize energy compliance for this submittal and deferred submittals using the <br /> checklist in WSEC C103.2 as a guide for additional information required on the drawings. An <br /> assembly occupancy would be a change in use, per WSEC section C505. <br /> 2. Alterations which replace more than 50% of the luminaires have to comply with lighting controls, <br /> per WSEC C503.6. <br /> a. Please include a calculated lighting summary from the forms available on NEEC.NET to <br /> verify compliance for the interior lighting power allowances per WSEC table C405.2 (1). <br /> b. Please include actual code section language on the building drawings for interior lighting <br /> controls, sensors, and all other methods of compliance covered in electrical power and <br /> lighting systems per WSEC sections C405 and C503.6. <br /> 3. Compliance with the building thermal envelope requirements should be shown in section and <br /> summarized on the drawings, per WSEC section C503.1. Please indicate the method of building <br /> envelope compliance by completing a total UA alternative worksheet, or provide a completed <br /> prescriptive worksheet to include detailed R-Values of new exterior walls, roof-ceiling details, slab <br /> on grade and foundation details, per WSEC section C402.1. <br /> a. Please indicate the U values of all new fenestration to meet energy code requirements, to <br /> include man doors and windows, per WSEC C402.1.4 and C402.4. <br /> 4. Cut sheet is required for the freezers to show compliance with the energy code, per WSEC <br /> 403.5.3 condenser heat recovery, and C410. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), the 2015 International Existing <br /> Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC), the 2015 International <br /> Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015 Washington State Energy <br /> Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current <br /> IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" <br /> (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. Compliance with <br /> these regulations is the responsibility of the tenant and owner of the building.
