The following outline <br /> provides each of the City comments in italics along with a narrative response describing how each <br /> comment is addressed. <br /> General <br /> 1. The method of compliance with the IEBC should be identified in the code analysis, to include <br /> whether it is prescriptive, work area, or performance compliance. Please identify if the work is <br /> Level H or III alterations, to include whether the ceiling is remaining, light fixtures are being <br /> added or replaced, quantities, etc. There are several forms for energy compliance which address <br /> scope of new work to determine level of compliance required by WSEC chapter 5. <br /> Response: Added IEBC Level 3 Alteration to Code Information on sheet G1.1. <br /> Added Component Performance Path Summary to General Notes on sheet G1.1. <br /> Revised Lighting Calculation to include warehouse lighting. <br /> Occupancy, Fire Safety, Egress <br /> 1. The drawings should indicate specific signage to indicate that egress doors will be open during <br /> business hours,per IBC section 1010.1.9.3, item 2.2.aA <br /> a. The door schedule should indicate that any locking devices on these doors are readily <br /> distinguishable as being locked. <br /> ✓ Response: Revised Door Notes on sheet A3.1. <br /> Construction <br /> ✓1. The lighting compliance documents(plans and WSEC LIGHT-SUM)should include the <br /> warehouse. The reflected ceiling plans should include the warehouse lighting. <br /> Response: Added warehouse lighting to the"JBC Facility Plan"on sheet A2.1. <br /> 2. The accessible parking should be shown to be on the shortest path to the main entrance into the <br /> tenant improvement, including a curb cut,per IEBC section 410.6 and IBC section 1106.6 as <br /> ✓ amended by WA State. <br /> Response: Added new accessible parking stall.
