Plan review will resume when the requested information is submitted and sufficient information is <br /> shown to ensure that the proposed structures will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes. <br /> Please e-mail me the revisions after you have received comments from all departments (Structural, Public <br /> Works, Utilities, Planning, and Fire departments). Please check online at everettwa.gov/permits to see the <br /> review status of your submittal. <br /> General <br /> 1. The method of compliance with the IEBC should be identified in the code analysis, to include <br /> whether it is prescriptive, work area, or performance compliance. I would assume that this is work <br /> level III alterations, since it is over 50% of the building. <br /> 2. There are several forms for energy compliance which address scope of new work to determine level <br /> of compliance required by WSEC chapter 5. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. A new 8 foot fence requires detailing and structural drawings, per IBC section 105.2. If you decide <br /> to proceed with this revision, I will route it to James Bronder for structural review. <br /> Occupancy, Fire Safety, Egress <br /> 1. The drawings should indicate specific signage to indicate that egress doors will be open during <br /> business hours, per IBC section 1010.1.9.3, item 2.2. <br /> a. The door schedule should indicate that any locking devices on these doors are readily <br /> distinguishable as being locked. <br /> Construction <br /> 1. The lighting compliance documents (plans and WSEC LIGHT-SUM) should include the warehouse. <br /> The reflected ceiling plans should include the warehouse lighting. <br /> 2. A new fence over 6 feet around existing parking requires Planning review. The location of the fence <br /> may impact required parking. A larger site plan showing street access may be required for review.
