"Safety Zone" means the area or space officially set <br /> 2 apart within a roadway for the exclusive use of pedestrians and <br /> which is protected or is marked or indicated by painted marks, <br /> 3 signs, buttons, standards, or otherwise, so as to be plainly <br /> discernible. <br /> 4 FF. "Sidewalk" means that property between the curb lines <br /> 5 or the lateral lines of a roadway and the adjacent property, set <br /> ` aside and intended for the use of pedestrians or such portion of <br /> 6 private property parallel and in proximity to a public highway and <br /> dedicated to use by pedestrians. <br /> 7 GG. "Stand or Standing" means the halting of a vehicle, <br /> 8 whether occupied or not, otherwise than temporarily for the <br /> purpose of and while actually engaged in receiving or discharging <br /> 9 passengers. <br /> 10 HH. "Stop or Stopping" means any halting of a vehicle <br /> resulting in complete cessation from movement, even momentarily. <br /> 11 II . "Tow Away Zone" means a portion of a street or alley <br /> 12 that is signed or marked as a tow away zone. <br /> 13 JJ. "Trailer" includes every vehicle without power <br /> designed for being drawn by or used in conjunction with a motor <br /> 14 vehicle. <br /> 15 KK. "Truck" means any motor vehicle designed or used for <br /> the transportation of commodities, merchandise, produce, freight <br /> 16 or animals. <br /> 17 LL. "Truck Loading Zone" means a designated portion of the <br /> street reserved for the exclusive use of truck licensed commercial <br /> 18 vehicles during the loading and unloading of materials. <br /> 19 MM. "Vehicle" means every device capable of being moved <br /> upon a highway and in, upon, or by which any persons or property <br /> 20 is or may be transported or drawn upon a public highway, including <br /> mopeds, excepting devices moved by human or animal power or used <br /> 21 exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks. For purposes of this <br /> ordinance, the definition of "vehicle" encompasses, but is not <br /> 22 limited to, motor vehicles, trailers, trucks and motorcycles. <br /> 23 NN. "Parking Violation" means the infringement of any <br /> parking regulation set forth in this ordinance. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 26 <br /> Section 2: Definitions. <br /> 27 <br /> Unless otherwise provided or unless the context clearly <br /> 28 requires a different meaning, the following terms have the meaning <br /> given to them herein: <br /> 29 <br /> A.
