• <br /> • <br /> chapter shall diminish or reduce the requirements of any legally adopted building <br /> codes, including state and local amendments, or other City ordinances, <br /> resolutions, or regulations. In the event of any conflict in requirements among <br /> these codes, ordinances, resolutions, or regulations, the more stringent provision <br /> shall apply. <br /> B. Subsection 901.6.1 of the IFC, entitled"Standards" and Table 901.6.1 of the IFC, entitled <br /> "Fire Protection System Maintenance Standards" are hereby deleted and the following <br /> inserted in their place: <br /> 901.6.1 Standards. Fire protection systems shall be inspected, tested, and <br /> maintained in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association("NFPA") <br /> standards listed in Table 901.6.1 below. <br /> Table 901.6.1 <br /> FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM MAINTENANCE STANDARDS <br /> SYSTEM STANDARD <br /> Carbon dioxide fire-extinguishing systems NFPA 12 <br /> Clean agent fire-extinguishing systems NFPA 2001 <br /> Dry chemical fire-extinguishing systems NFPA 17 <br /> Emergency power systems NFPA 110 & <br /> NFPA 111 <br /> Fire alarm systems NFPA 72 <br /> Fire doors NFPA 80 <br /> Foam fire-extinguishing systems NFPA 11 <br /> Halogenated fire-extinguishing systems NFPA 12A <br /> Smoke-control systems NFPA 92A <br /> Underground fire lines, hydrants, and NFPA 25 <br /> water-based fire protection systems <br /> Fire extinguishers NFPA 10 <br /> Water-mist systems NFPA 750 <br /> Wet chemical fire-extinguishing systems NFPA 17A <br /> C. Subsection 901.6.2 of the IFC, entitled"Records"is hereby deleted and the following <br /> inserted in its place: <br /> 901.6.2 Records. Records of all system inspections, tests, and maintenance <br /> required by the referenced standards shall be maintained on the premises for a <br /> minimum of 5 years. A copy of each inspection, test, or maintenance record shall <br /> be forwarded to the Fire Code Official within 30 days of the date the inspection, <br /> test, or maintenance occurred. <br /> 11 <br />
