October 18, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., October 18, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were <br /> present. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 11, 2017, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as amended. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Police Chief Dan Templeman introduced new police officer trainee Daniel <br /> Frerichs. <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Franklin, to concur with the appointment of Daniel Frerichs as a new <br /> police officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The City Clerk designee administered the oath of office and Mayor <br /> Stephanson presented the officer with his badge. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore provided a report from the Cascade View/Twin <br /> Creeks Neighborhood meeting. <br /> 348 <br />
