October 25, 2017 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., October 25, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the William <br /> E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Murphy, Franklin, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council Members Moore <br /> and Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Franklin led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 18, 2017, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Franklin expressed her thankfulness to the Hand Up <br /> Project for the community service. She also reported on her attendance at <br /> the Camp Fire luncheon, the Cummins Grand Opening, the Baker Heights <br /> community festival, the Delta Neighborhood meeting, the Stand with Our <br /> Muslim Neighbors event at Trinity Lutheran Church, and the Pinehurst- <br /> Beverly Park Neighborhood meeting. <br /> Council Member Bader provided a liaison report on his attendance at the <br /> Historic Commission meeting. <br /> Council Member Murphy commented on the City Council Retreat. He also <br /> requested an update on economic development be provided to the Council <br /> before the end of the year. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated an update will be provided to the <br /> Council. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Silver Lake <br /> neighborhood meeting and the Cummins Grand Opening.
