(5) CB 1709-50 — 2nd Reading - Adopt the Proposed Ordinance increasing the funding in <br /> the "Parks Playground Renovations", Fund 354, Program 052, to accumulate all costs <br /> for the improvement project, amending Ordinance No. 3548-17. (3rd and final reading <br /> on 11-1-17) <br /> CONSENT: <br /> (6) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of $840,174.96 for the period of October 7, 2017 through October 13, 2017. <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> (7) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Operating Grant Agreement with the Washington <br /> State Department of Transportation to support operations and preventative <br /> maintenance costs for paratransit service. <br /> (8) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Transportation Demand Management Implementation <br /> Agreement with the Washington State Department of Transportation to support <br /> employee incentive programs to reduce single occupant vehicle commute trips for <br /> participating employers in the City. <br /> (9) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Memorandum of Agreement to implement a Regional <br /> Reduced Fare Permit for senior and disabled persons. <br /> (10) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interagency Agreement between the Everett Police <br /> Department and the Washington Traffic Safety Commission to participate in highly <br /> visibility enforcement traffic safety emphasis patrols in support of Target Zero Teams. <br /> (11) Authorize the Mayor to sign the enrollment form for the CARFAX for Police Program at <br /> no cost to the City. <br /> (12) Authorize the Mayor to sign the grant agreement with Washington State Department <br /> of Archeology and Historic Preservation to complete a historic walking tour of the <br /> Hewitt District and Downtown. <br /> (13) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement <br /> with Otak, Inc. for the final design and permitting of the Diking Improvement District <br /> No. 5 Dike Repairs and extending the completion date to December 31, 2019 for an <br /> additional amount of $182,291.00. <br /> (14) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Memorandum of Understanding for installation and <br /> use of New World Systems software for Northwest Ambulance. <br />
