January 13, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., January 13, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William <br /> E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Franklin led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 6, 2016, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. Council Member Stonecipher abstained from the vote. <br /> President Murphy announced his appointment of Council Member Tuohy <br /> to the position of Council Vice President for 2016. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson announced he will be making his annual trip tomorrow <br /> to meet with legislators in Olympia. He stated Council President Murphy, <br /> Council Members Roberts and Franklin, and Pat McClain and <br /> Bob Bolerjak, Government Affairs, will be joining him. <br /> APPOINTMENTS/REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to concur with the following appointment: <br /> Everett Public Facilities District Board <br /> Appointment of Robert Hunt to Position 2 for a six-year term, <br /> ending December 31, 2021. <br /> The Mayor commented on Mr. Hunt's financial background, as well as his <br /> many years with Village Theatre. <br /> Council Member Moore, as liaison to the Public Facilities District Board, <br /> also expressed his appreciation of the appointment of Mr. Hunt. <br /> 9 <br />
