January 13, 2016 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Moore thanked the Fire union leadership and members <br /> for participating in the Council Public Safety Subcommittee meeting <br /> presentation held earlier this evening. <br /> Council Member Franklin congratulated Council Member Tuohy on her <br /> appointment to the position of City Council Vice President. <br /> Council Member Bader provided a liaison report on his attendance at the <br /> Puget Sound Regional Council Growth Management Committee meeting. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher also congratulated Council Member Tuohy <br /> on her new appointment. Council Member Stonecipher provided a liaison <br /> report on her attendance at the Parks Board meeting last evening, which <br /> included a presentation recommending no increase in golf fees this year. <br /> In light of the budget process, Council Member Stonecipher asked that <br /> this topic come forward to a City Council meeting to allow for resident <br /> input. <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, stated Parks Director Paul Kaftanski will <br /> bring this item forward. <br /> Council Member Roberts congratulated Council Member Tuohy on her <br /> appointment today. Council Member Roberts also provided a 2015 federal <br /> legislative overview. <br /> Council Member Tuohy thanked Chief Templeman and the Everett <br /> firefighter union for presentations at today's Public Safety Subcommittee <br /> meeting. She announced that the next subcommittee meeting is <br /> scheduled for February 13, 2016, which will include a presentation by Fire <br /> administration. <br /> 10 <br />
