January 20, 2016 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br />6:30 p.m., January 20, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William <br />E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. Upon roll <br />call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br />Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br />Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the January 13, 2016, City Council meeting were approved <br />as printed. <br />NAAvnR <br />OATH — POLICE OFFICERS <br />Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br />Tuohy, to concur with the appointment of Mark Gist, Shawn Bell, and <br />Tad Halbert as new police officers. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office and Mayor <br />Stephanson presented the officers with their badges. <br />APPOINTMENTS/ REAPPOINTMENTS <br />Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br />Bader, to concur with the following appointments: <br />CHIP Loan Review Committee <br />Appointment of Joel Haack to Position 3 for the remainder of a four- <br />year term, ending December 31, 2017. <br />15 <br />
