January 20, 2016 <br />Reappointment of Gene Lilley to Alternate Position 3 for of a four- <br />year term, ending December 31, 2019. <br />Lodging Tax Advisory Board <br />Appointment of Cassie Franklin to Position 5 for the remainder of a <br />four-year term, ending December 31, 2018. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />COUNCIL <br />Council Member Moore provided a liaison report on his attendance at the <br />Public Facilities District Board meeting. <br />Council Member Franklin reminded the public about two community <br />events: <br />• Housing First Forum on February 1, 2016, at 6:30 p.m., at the <br />Historic Everett Theatre; <br />• Fifth annual Shakaroo benefit concert for the Everett Animal Shelter <br />on February 13, 2016, at the Everett Performing Arts Center from <br />7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. <br />Council Member Roberts stated that he received several emails regarding <br />noise levels and an exhaust fumes in the city. He forwarded the concern <br />regarding air quality to the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. <br />Council Member Tuohy provided a liaison report on her attendance at the <br />Library Board meeting last evening. <br />President Murphy reminded citizens that they are welcome to attend the <br />City Council retreat, which will be held on January 23, 2016, 8:00 a.m. to <br />noon, at the Carl Gipson Senior Center. <br />16 <br />
