January 27, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., January 27, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William <br /> E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. <br /> President Murphy announced that the Public Hearing, Agenda Item No. 5, <br /> had been pulled from the agenda. He welcomed anyone in the audience <br /> who wished to speak on this item to do so under citizen comments. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council <br /> Members Roberts and Stonecipher were excused. Council Member Bader <br /> was expected to be a few minutes late. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 20, 2016, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENTS / REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br /> Franklin, to concur with the following appointment: <br /> Animal Shelter Advisory Committee <br /> Appointment of Nathan Shelby to Position 3 for a six-year term, <br /> ending December 31, 2021. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Stonecipher who were excused, and Council <br /> Member Bader who was expected to be a few minutes late. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 28 <br />
