from time to time by the Public Works Director, either prior <br /> to or during the actual course of construction. <br /> The order of construction of the above improvements shall be <br /> as determined by the Public Works Director of the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> Section 3 : The total estimated cost of the improvements <br /> herein authorized is $46, 500, 000 which will include all <br /> related costs for design, construction, contract <br /> administration, plan development and associated costs. <br /> Section 4 : the Public Works Director of the City of <br /> Everett, under administration of the Mayor, is hereby given <br /> the responsibility of conducting all tasks outlined under <br /> Section 2 above. <br /> Section 5: the city Treasurer of the City of Everett is <br /> hereby authorized to negotiate a reasonable rate of interest <br /> and issue interest bearing warrants to satisfy constructions <br /> costs not to exceed $46, 500, 000. These interest bearing <br /> warrants shall be redeemed by the Treasurer as soon as <br /> reimbursement or long term bond financing monies, as <br /> described elsewhere in this Ordinance, are received. <br /> Section 6: <br /> A. The sum of $46, 500, 000 is hereby appropriated to <br /> Fund No. 358 "Sewage Treatment and Collection <br /> System Improvements Construction Fund" , as <br /> follows: <br /> Program 852 : Sewage Treatment $35, 500, 000 <br /> Plant Improvements <br /> Program 434 : South End Interceptor $3 , 000, 000 <br /> (City Share) <br /> Program 435: Sewer Main Replacements $4 , 000, 000 <br /> Program 436: Lift Station Upgrades $2 , 000, 000 <br /> Program 437 : Combined Sewer Overflow $2 , 000, 000 <br /> Abatement (City Share) <br /> TOTAL $46, 500, 000 <br /> The above amounts represent the anticipated relative <br /> amounts of funds to be expended on all programs. The <br /> relative amounts for all items may vary; but , the <br /> total amount for all programs is to remain at <br /> $46, 500, 000. <br /> B. The source of funds for the appropriation shall <br /> be: <br /> 1. Grants from the Washington State Department <br /> of Ecology under the Referendum 39 program; <br /> the Centennial Clean Water Fund program; and <br /> the Federal EPA Construction Grants program. <br /> $11, 606, 397 . 28 <br /> 2 .
