Due to Snohomish County <br /> Corrections booking restriction policies,the Everett Police Department is occasionally unable to book <br /> individuals arrested for misdemeanor charges and must release those individuals from police custody. The <br /> SCORE facility has less restrictive booking policies and can serve as an alternative location to book arrested <br /> individuals. The contract with South Correctional Entity(SCORE)provides that the City and SCORE will <br /> take all legal measures to return inmates to the City of Everett upon release. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interlocal Agreement with South Correctional Entity for inmate housing <br /> services in the form substantially as provided. <br /> 79 <br />
