S2.1 shows the columns to be pressure treated. The beams are not <br /> mentioned. Do they need to be PT as well? <br /> 2. S2.1 note one says the columns are to be continuous to foundation. <br /> That would be over 30 feet,too long to source.And, over time, they <br /> would twist. Presently they are joined at each deck and connected <br /> with a Simpson plate for uplift. Could we copy that? See drawing. <br /> 3. Please clarify what the two layers of plywood are on the decks. <br /> (Typically I've seen 3/4 cdx topped with 1/2 acx as an underlayment for <br /> QUESTION/COMMENT: the epoxy coating) <br /> 4. #41S3.1 says we are replacing all the joists. I assume that would <br /> include the ledgers. Is this correct?
