November 8, 2017 <br /> Council Member Roberts spoke about the previous action taken to look at <br /> geographic representation in the creation of districts. He provided a draft <br /> memo to council members outlining how the process might be developed <br /> and the formation of a committee that would report back to the Council by <br /> May 2018. Council Member Roberts provided a report on the 2018 <br /> legislative priorities for the Association of Washington Cities. <br /> President Tuohy spoke about the districting proposal and the importance of <br /> developing a timeline and concrete plan. President Tuohy announced a <br /> community awareness forum on gangs in south Everett will be held next <br /> Wednesday at the Mariner High School Theatre from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, had no report. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session, anticipated to last no <br /> longer than 10 minutes, concerning two legal matters pursuant to RCW <br /> 42.30.110(1)(i)(c) with no announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Sean Renfro, Everett, spoke about a police matter. He stated a notification <br /> is forthcoming regarding a public meeting to be held at the Courtyard <br /> Marriott Hotel. <br /> Lynn Dollmeyer, Everett, spoke about the services provided by the <br /> Bridgeways organization. She announced that Bridgeways was honored <br /> with the 2017 Governor's Employer Award for "Medium-nonprofit <br /> Employer," which was presented at the 25th Annual Governor's Employer <br /> Awards ceremony on October 31, 2017. <br /> 386 <br />
