National Objectives <br /> The Subgrantee certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will <br /> meet one or more of the following CDBG National Objectives - 1) benefit low/moderate income <br /> persons, 2) aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight or, 3) meet community development <br /> needs having a particular urgency - as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208. Briefly describe how this <br /> National Objective will be met. <br /> The majority of the families served by Cocoon House report incomes qualifying as low or moderate. <br /> C. Performance Monitoring <br /> The City will monitor the performance of the Subgrantee against goals and performance standards <br /> required herein. Substandard performance as determined by the City will constitute non-compliance <br /> with this Agreement. If action to correct such substandard performance is not taken by the <br /> Subgrantee within a reasonable period of time after being notified by the City, contract suspension or <br /> termination procedures will be initiated. <br /> A-2 <br />
