Provide written authorization of scope, anticipated deliverables, and schedule for any <br /> permitting acquisition and/or environmental services requested to be performed by HDR <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. An allowance has been established for these services as requested. HDR will not <br /> perform these services unless authorized in writing by the Client. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Deliverables will be defined upon written authorization by the Client. <br /> Task 500 ® Final Design Services <br /> Objective <br /> Provide final design of the Diversion Structure 0 improvements including engineering drawings, <br /> opinion of probable cost, and specifications. <br /> HDR Services <br /> 1. Perform a hydraulic system analysis to evaluate flow management scenarios. This <br /> analysis will include the following. <br /> a) Evaluate and recommend pipe materials and size to be included in the design and <br /> specifications. <br /> b) Evaluate the discharge of flows from Diversion Structure 0 into the recirculation <br /> channel and determine the impact on the recirculation wall and the pond hydraulics. <br /> c) Evaluate the hydraulics of the proposed design using excel spreadsheet calculations <br /> and coordinate with operations staff proposed standard operating procedures for <br /> base and wet weather flow conditions. <br /> 2. Develop project criteria and constraints to limit the impact of the pipeline and structure <br /> construction on the plant operations. <br /> 3. Prepare a Final Design Report summarizing final design features and criteria. <br /> 4. Develop 50% review, 90% review, and Final Construction Drawings, opinion of probable <br /> cost, and specifications which will include the following design elements. <br /> a) Provide engineering design for approximately 1,200 feet of 96-inch gravity sanitary <br /> sewer main as identified in the Diversion Structure 0 Predesign Report. <br /> b) Provide structural design for the Diversion Structure 0 Modifications, Junction <br /> Structure, Flow Control Structure and the Discharge Headwall at the Outlet Pond. <br /> c) Provide electrical design for motor actuated gates. <br /> d) Provide instrumentation and control design for system monitoring and control. <br /> e) Assess construction risk and develop contractor qualification requirements at 50% <br /> design phase. Validate construction risk assessment and adjust qualification <br /> requirements at 90%design phase. <br /> f) Evaluate the City and State requirements for establishing qualified and responsible <br /> contractors and determine if pre-qualification of bidders should be considered in <br /> accordance section 1-02.1 of the WSDOT Standard Specifications. <br /> City of Everett—DSO Modifications i 5 Scope of Services <br />
