• <br /> • <br /> • • ` <br /> ORDINANCE NO. /4-'54 -kg <br /> AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property <br /> generally located east of 19th Avenue SE <br /> between 102nd Place SE and 106th Place SE <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to <br /> the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain <br /> property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to RCW 35.13.130 was <br /> signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to <br /> the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be <br /> annexed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, <br /> did fix October /57 , 1988 for a hearing upon said petition, and cause <br /> notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett---Herald, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to <br /> be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, <br /> which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of <br /> hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval of the <br /> annexation; and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, has determined to annex all of the property described <br /> in the petition as hereinafter set forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did, at <br /> their , 1988 public meeting, vote to approve the <br /> annexation; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the property hereinafter described, be, and the same <br /> is hereby annexed to the CIty of Everett: <br /> BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 2, plat of <br /> Silver Lake View Tracts, according to the plat thereof <br /> recorded in Volume 8 of Plats, Page 65, records of <br /> Snohomish County; THENCE, East along the North line of <br /> said Lot 2 to the Northeast corner thereof; THENCE, <br /> South along the East line of Lots 2-5, inclusive, to <br /> the the Northwest corner of Lot 9 of said plat; THENCE, <br /> East along the North line of said Lot 9 to the <br /> Northeast corner thereof; THENCE, South along the East <br /> line of said Lot 9, and the Southerly projection of <br /> said East line to intersect the North line of the <br /> Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section <br /> 20, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M. (said <br /> intersection also being the most Southwesterly corner <br /> of Lot 31, Plat of Firgrove Division 6, according to <br /> the plat thereof recorded in Volume 37 of Plats, Page <br /> 11, records of Snohomish County); THENCE, East along <br />
