Upon annexation of the <br /> above-described property, all of said property shall be assessed and taxed <br /> at the smae rate on the smae basis as other property located within the City <br /> of Everett is assessed and taxed, to pay for any then outstanding <br /> indebtedness of the City of Everett contracted prior to or existing at the <br /> date of this annexation. In addition, the annexed area will remain <br /> responsible unto any other lawfully formed municipal corporation to which <br /> the property is obligated at the time of annexation subject to a specific <br /> lien. Further, the City of Everett may incur additional operating expenses <br /> in supplying water or sewage unto persons who are located whithin the <br /> annexed area. Accordingly, utility rates for the area for which annexation <br /> is petitioned may vary from those rates from other areas within the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> -2- <br />
