Parking in Disabled Space Without Requisite Permit, <br /> Decal , or License Plate: Fifty Dollars ($50.00) ; <br /> 5 <br /> 4. Parking, Stopping or Standing in Fire Lane in <br /> 6 Violation of this Ordinance: Fifty Dollars ($50.00) ; <br /> 7 5. Interfering with, concealing, obliterating or erasing <br /> marks in violation of this Ordinance: Fifty Dollars <br /> 8 ($50.00) ; <br /> 9 6. All Other Violations: Twenty Dollars ($20.00) . <br /> 10 C. The penalties set forth in Subsection A will be reduced in <br /> half if the parking violation is paid to the City <br /> 11 Treasurer' s Office within twenty-four (24) hours of the <br /> 12 time and date of issuance. In the event the City <br /> Treasurer' s Office is not open for business the day <br /> following the date of issuance, the violator can make <br /> 13 payment on the next City business day and still receive the <br /> reduced penalty. <br /> 14 <br /> D. Payment of all parking violations shall be made to the City <br /> 15 Treasurer' s Office. All proceeds derived from individuals <br /> 16 charged with a violation of any of the provisions of this <br /> Ordinance shall be paid into the general fund of the City. <br /> 17 E. Notwithstanding the language set forth in Subsection C, if <br /> 18 a vehicle has been cited for five (5) or more violations of <br /> this Ordinance and/or any other parking ordinance of the <br /> 19 City, within a six (6) month period, the City may have the <br /> vehicle declared a repeat violator. If a vehicle is <br /> 20 declared a repeat violator then said vehicle will not be <br /> eligible for reduction in parking violation penalty set <br /> forth in Subsection C. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 In order to declare a vehicle a repeat violator, <br /> notification of hearing on the issue of whether said <br /> 23 vehicle constitutes a repeat violator shall be sent by <br /> registered mail or certified mail with return receipt <br /> 24 requested to the registered and legal owners of said <br /> vehicle as shown by the records of the State of Washington <br /> 25 Department of Licenses. The notification shall include a <br /> statement that the vehicle will be declared a repeat <br /> 26 violator unless a request for hearing is filed with the <br /> City Treasurer or his designee within ten (10) calendar <br /> 27 days of the date of mailing. <br /> 28 Upon receipt of a timely request for hearing, the City <br /> Treasurer or his designee shall set the matter for <br /> 29 hearing. The hearing shall be conducted in accordance with <br /> the procedures established by the Parking Hearing <br /> 30 Examiner. When a timely request for hearing is received <br /> the Hearing Examiner shall enter a finding of repeat <br /> 31 violator only upon making the following determinations: <br /> 32 <br /> 3 <br />
