• • 4 . 1 ORDINANCE NO. 453W— O e 2 3 AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1248-86 by eliminating 4 special requirements for automatic sprinkler systems and power supply for exit illumination. 5 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: 6 7 Section 1 : That Section 4(E) of Ordinance No. 1248-86 (EMC 16.01 .070) 8 which amends Section 3802(c) (3) of the 1985 Edition of the Uniform Building 9 Code reads as follows: 10 11 E. Section 3802(c)3 of the 1985 Edition of the UBC is hereby amended by deleting: 12 Exhibition and Display Rooms. An automatic sprinkler 13 system shall be installed in rooms classified as Group A Occupancies which have more than 12,000 square feet of 14 floor area which can be used for exhibition and display purposes. 15 and inserting in its place: 16 Exhibitions and Display Rooms.
